Data collected and purposes

Slot, quote or gift card requests: name, email, phone, preferred date, number of guests, language, message. Purpose: answer your request and organise the service.
Online bookings: name, email, phone (optional), chosen session, number of places and payment status. Payment is processed by Stripe: Mon Sommelier neither receives nor stores your card number. Purpose: carry out your booking.
Newsletter: email address and the date of your consent. Purpose: keep you informed of our tastings and events.
Audience measurement: page views and clicks on booking buttons, in aggregated form and without cookies, to improve the site.

Legal bases

Bookings rely on performance of the contract, and requests on pre-contractual measures taken at your request; the newsletter relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; audience measurement relies on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, with a tool that uses no cookie and does not identify visitors.

Retention

Your data is kept for 3 years after our last contact. For the newsletter, it is deleted as soon as you unsubscribe.

Recipients and processors

Data is accessible to the Mon Sommelier team. We use Railway (hosting of the site and database), Resend (sending our email notifications), Stripe (online card payment) and Plausible Analytics (cookie-free audience measurement). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards provided by the GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise them, write to contact@monsommelier.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
